Product Description
The 3D Driving School Europe Edition software allows you to practice driving a car in virtual 3D European cities. Honing your essential driving awareness and reactions from the safety of your desktop, this software puts you behind the virtual wheel as you drive through the simulated world in real time. You must then observe all traffic regulations.
The full version includes 23 exercises and environments including: Paris, Gent, Madrid, Gobesdorf, London and Berlin, as well as motorways, country-roads, 6 instructors in English, French, Dutch, and German with 5 cars, 4 motorbikes and 2 Quads.
The virtual driving instructor leads you through specific problems or situations as a learner driver, being always conscious of your speed, signalling and braking, the look into the mirror or over your shoulder, attention of the signs and more. Navigation is carried out via keyboard and mouse, however the use of a digital steering wheel is optional. Most helpfully, a page of statistics is provided after each exercise, pointing out weaknesses and strengths over the course.
The end goal is the completion of a virtual driver's examination - the perfect preparation for the real thing.
The 3D Driving School Europe Edition Features:
The Europe edition offers you three different exercise routes:
Practical experience with different traffic situations aimed towards attaining your national driver's license:
- A traffic training ground for getting to know the vehicle
- The small town Gobesdorf in which you can practice all the basic skills of driving a car step by step.
- Simulation of an area in Berlin - higher traffic density and less predictability.
- A secondary road for the obligatory cross-country trip.
- A large motorway in Germany and France with motorway intersections. The cities of Gobesdorf, Berlin, Madrid and London are connected to each other over this motorway and can be reached independently.
You also have the ability to expand your training in other European countries:
- Driving on the left in London. Another three exercises to practice driving on the left.
- Defensive training in Paris - you don't let yourself be provoked by traffic-rowdies.
- For experts, a longer and more challenging route through historical Gent in Belgium. Traffic rules are considerably different from Germany here.
- A night journey through virtual Madrid. Prepare yourself with narrow one-way streets and tricky situations for a holiday in Spain.
Police patrol game: Scene of the crime - Gent
- Finally on the other side of the law: You drive patrol in Gent. Three police vehicles complete with sirens and navigation systems are at your disposal for 15 varied chases.

Editor's Review
3D Driving School 5 Europe Edition simulates an authentic European driving experience by creating traffic conditions that are commonly seen in Europe. To help the user learn how to drive correctly, the software penalizes them for violating traffic laws, thus providing an opportunity to learn without the consequences that are associated with real life driving mishaps.
3D Driving School 5 Europe Edition lets users partake in 23 different driving exercises that take place in cities around Europe such as Madrid, London, Berlin, Gobesdorf, Paris, Gent and more. The software also includes country roads and motorways to simulate the full experience of driving in Europe. To add to this diverse feature set the software also includes a selection of 11 vehicles including 5 cars, 2 quads, and 4 motorbikes.
The software is multilingual, offering virtual instructors that speak in 6 different languages including English, Dutch, French and German. The instructor guides the user through a variety of realistic situations, teaching new drivers how to control their speed, steering, signaling, braking, and sign reading. The software even teaches the user how to use their rear-view mirrors safely and properly.
The controls in 3D Driving School 5 Europe Edition are rather simple, allowing the user to steer their vehicles using the directional arrows on their computer's keyboard, or with the mouse. Alternatively, the user has the option of enjoying a more interactive experience by using a digital steering wheel. After each exercise the user is presented with a thorough analysis of their performance, giving them an ample opportunity to correct their flaws in future exercises.
3D Driving School 5 Europe Edition: What We Liked

The software does an excellent job representing the diverse challenges that a European driver encounters on a daily basis.
The virtual instructor provides detailed guidance throughout the course of each driving exercise.
The cities and scenery within the software accurately depict the typical European landscape and driving conditions.
3D Driving School 5 Europe Edition: What We Didn't Like
Although the software accurately depicts a typical European environment, the graphic leave much to be desired.
