Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Workstation provides disk-based backup and disaster recovery for Windows workstations and is designed to meet the needs of small businesses, where remote and centralized management are not required.

Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 takes a ‘snapshot’ of the disk using Acronis’ patented disk imaging technologies, minimizing impact on end users and eliminating the need to take workstations or laptop offline for a backup.
Recover quickly
Once required, the image containing operating system, applications and data, can be fully recovered in minutes, instead of hours or days. Or recover just individual file or folder accidently deleted or lost. And we made it easy: you don’t need to be technology expert to use our products. Simply hit F11 during system boot and intuitive GUI will guide you through the recovery process.
Backup even while on the road
Back up a laptop to a variety of storage devices and locations, including the Acronis® Secure Zone™, a special protected partition on a hard drive. Additionally protect from thief or hardware failure by storing backups from everywhere to Acronis Online Storage.
Recover or migrate to dissimilar hardware
Sometimes it may be hard or impossible to keep or buy identical hardware to restore image to in a case of thief or hardware failure. With optional Acronis® Universal Restore™ you can quickly recover or migrate entire system, complete with all applications, data and settings, to dissimilar hardware and be ready to continue operations in minutes.

Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 is a popular backup application for home and business PC users. Designed to minimize the risks and effects of data loss, corruption, and hardware damage, Backup & Recovery 10 allows users to create complete disk backups, recover lost files and data, and even recover and resurrect a damaged Windows installation.
While most modern versions of Windows come with some backup features as standard, they're typically difficult to use and fail to cover all data loss circumstances. Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is significantly more powerful than a standard backup application - it's a complete backup, recovery, and data security suite.
While the Workstation edition of Backup & Recovery 10 is designed with small businesses in mind, the software itself is powerful enough to work across hundreds of PCs, recovering and securing data for entire enterprises and organizations. For home users, a range of monitoring features including a simple dashboard are ideal for monitoring urgent tasks and at-risk applications.

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is very powerful, which is a welcome change from the many user-friendly but powerless backup applications available.
Data encryption is very useful for backing up confidential and private files such as financial reports, user data, and personal information.
Data recovery speed is very quick - significantly more so than other backup and recovery applications.
Acronis Backup & Recovery Workstation: What We Didn't Like
Interface can be difficult to navigate at times, especially for new users.
While online support is available, customer phone support is only provided on a pay-per-incident basis.

Acronis offer online support for Backup & Recovery 10, with a user FAQ, installation and configuration guides, a product selection wizard, and an online community support forum. Online live support is available, along with pay-per-incident phone support.
