Photoshop - Things we like
With a refined interface and intelligent new features that include content aware fill and edge detection, CS5 appears almost to think for itself. Users will appreciate how the HDR toolbar, for instance, allows the merging of several photos of different exposures and how the puppet warp tool works to cleverly warp and distort your images. If you're looking for improved workflow, you'll find the latest version has a big advantage over any previous Photoshop download. After you've grown accustomed to the more streamlined layout and the way it works, all its options will appear much more conveniently placed for ease of use. There's also a more common sense approach to your workspace functionality, with new images opening up in different tabs by default. This allows you to tile or stack your files for convenient side by side comparison.
Photoshop - Things we didn't like
If you've never used it before, you'll fail to appreciate its faster, smoother performance over previous versions, but seasoned users will also come to realise that there are in fact few actual new features with CS5. Combine this with reports of incompatibilities with Apple Mac OS X Spaces and annoying bugs which will be of interest especially to heavy users, such as a distinct lack of stability around third-party plug-ins. Sadly the software itself doesn't incorporate a help feature either, so the only way to find help for user issues is via the internet. If you happen to be working locally, you could come unstuck if you can't get an internet connection to look up a Photoshop review or forum for a solution to your problem.

I still like the CS3 Photoshop. This one just seems clunky and awkward to use.
