• In the CS4 Extended software, you are able to work with 3D or video formats, adding a whole new dimension to the Photoshop experience.
• CS4 supports multi-touch on Macs, which allows different finger gestures to produce different actions and will help streamline image processing for Mac users.

• There are many complaints about the Adobe installer and updater, as the software forces you to close all other applications and takes a long time installing.
• There is no local help system and help is only available over the Internet, which means if you are not near an Internet connection at the time you're working and encounter a problem, you will not be able to use help to find a solution.
