AutoCAD LT - Things We Like

Many AutoCAD LT review articles say that it is very easy to use and efficient for 2D technical design, it is useful for viewing designs directly into the program, hatch editing and the creation function is easier to use in the 2011 version. The options for colours and layers have been upgraded and the AutoCAD LT download costs less than other similar programs, such as Desktop.

AutoCAD LT - Things We Didn't Like

It does not embed any of the 3D options. Professional training might be needed for mastering the program's functions, which could mean that it is less user friendly than Adobe Photoshop for example.

Some of the icons have been changes so much that they are harder to recognize by the users of the previous version. Raster images are inserted into the program as reference files, not as graphic elements, meaning that they can no longer be modified into the program.
