While Microsoft Powerpoint is considered the default presentation application, comparing it with AutoRun Typhoon's variation of presentations isn't particularly worthwhile. The two programs have one thing in common - the ability to create presentations - however the presentations that they create are completely different. While office productivity suites can create presentations using their own proprietary format, AutoRun Typhoon Professional creates presentations that are entirely self-contained.

This means that users can create presentations that export to a single .EXE file. For software developers, AutoRun Typhoon is the ideal tool for creating self-launching interactive help files, installation guides, and user walkthroughs.
