Using the recipes that they've loaded into the software, users can quickly create grocery lists and meal plans that make organizing and utilizing all of their favorite recipes a breeze. Instead of letting the recipe book sit on the shelf and get dusty, the user can spice up their life to the max utilizing every recipe in their arsenal with ease.

Everyone loves a good diverse meal selection, so BigOven Deluxe has made it possible to vary a diet almost effortlessly. The user simply needs to input their recipes, and whenever they are in the mood for a specific food or combination of foods, they can enter in their search query and find a recipe that is most suitable for that occasion.

To enhance the meal planning feature users can even flag certain recipes with the "Try Soon" tag which will remind them that they would like to try a particular recipe in the near future. Once they've decided upon a particular recipe the user can utilize the simple drag-and-drop interface to drop items onto their grocery list. The grocery list will then be generated and items are automatically sorted by aisle based on the average grocery store layout to save the user time during shopping.

The grocery lists created by BigOven Deluxe can either be printed or sent to a mobile device such as a Palm PDA or a Blackberry. To top off all of the above features, the software even generate nutritional information pertaining to each recipe, letting the user create a balanced diet within the same interface they manage their recipes with.
