Corel Pro - Things We Like

The Corel Pro download gives the tools needed to edit video and add animations, text and graphics to your productions. They are well designed for professional-level work with a great set of features including tutorials, built in templates and effects. Technically the package is impressive as one of the first to use some of the new features on Intel and AMD's combined processor and graphics cores, Sandy Bridge and Fusion. This means fast and responsive performance even under the heaviest workloads that will outperform competing graphics tools, keeping your productivity high. It is also designed well to scale to different sets of hardware, even those for which it is not optimised; hence it runs well on older machines. The interface is attractive and well designed, with functions placed clearly and in intuitive positions that allow for good work flow as well as the easy modification of your setup for editing. The stop motion animation and editing suite is fun and surprisingly easy to make good looking shorty films with in little time with the Corel Pro review features. With the impressive array of advanced editing features this allows for the quick production of professional-looking content. The new resource organisation features are an improvement over the X3 suit, with multiple virtual folders for resources allowing a high degree of control.

Corel Pro - Things We Didn't Like

A few aspects of the interface haven't been well thought through, with some parts of the edit mode leaving you editing your work directly in small windows that waste much of the screen area for previews. It would have been better to make fuller use of the screen to give more control and finesse in these areas. While the package includes some 3D features they don't seem to be well developed, lacking the ability to edit 3D footage and only one output format. Outputting 2D to 3D seems like little more than a gimmick feature as it is.
