Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 is a heavy-duty high definition video editing software which lets users import, edit, create, export and share their own standard and high definition videos. Users can export their projects to a variety of media including DVD, VCD, Blu-Ray and even YouTube. Utilizing a plethora of video creation and editing features, users can create stunning compilations and home videos with no experience required.

This edition of Corel VideoStudio has brought the performance level of the software to the next level, as users can now render high definition video twice as fast with the new GPU acceleration features. The entire movie creation process is expedited with a variety of features that let users create visual masterpieces in minutes. New in this edition of Corel VideoStudio is the NewBlue effects pack, which includes revolutionary 3D movement effects.

Adding effects, transitions, titles, music, and other enhancements is a simple process that any novice user can accomplish within the stylish new user-friendly interface. The software includes over $500 worth of professional templates that provide a starting base for the production of commercial quality compilations, home videos, and music videos.

The software also includes a bonus feature - DVD Movie Factory, which lets users author and burn DVDs and Blu-ray discs in an integrated interface. Users can export the movies directly to the hard drive in a variety of formats including but not limited to FLV, AVI, MP3 encode, HD MPEG-2 and HD MPEG-4. Alternatively users can share them instantly online through several platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, FlickR and Vimeo.

Users can also import content in virtually any video format, including but not limited to AVCHD, HDV, Blu-ray and even JVC camcorders. Aside from the advanced video editing features of the software, users can also create fully customized audio tracks with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and SmartSound technologies.

Once the user is finished with their creation they can burn it to a DVD for playback on any standard DVD player using the burn features included in the software. Users can also export it directly to mobile devices such as the PSP, iPhone, iPod, or MP3 players.
