Ulead beat the Rest
No complaints at all! I even have less than the recommended system requirements and it still works great on my computer. No problem loading it, no problem using it. I use it for capturing and editing HD video and it works great! Sure, I'm not an expert so I can't compare it to the $300-500 programs out there. But if you're like me and just want to turn your home HD video into excellent quality DVD, buy this software. It's a great bargain and I have no complaints about it.

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus was surprisingly easy to use and made my home movies into treasures I can cherish for generations. It had loads of interesting features like multi-track overlays and Dolby Digital surround sound. It even cleaned up my live band footage that had a lot of feedback and fogginess, and the best part was that it wasn't difficult. It was step by step and not hard to follow like other programs I've used in the past. Finally I have a way to put my band's videos on DVD with professional quality that I can be proud of. Not to mention that it had WinDVD included, so I can share it with my mom who lives 8 hours away!

Really a choice program, I'd give it 5 stars!

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus
Fun Stuff! VideoStudio is really easy to pick up and start using. The first time I tried it, I had a slideshow put together in a matter of minutes. The effects and overlay features are great. They make my slideshows look professional. It is much better than the free tool on my Windows machine. Although for me this tool has a low frustration factor most of the time, I did struggle with selecting a group of pictures. Sometimes it would work using the mouse to select a group and sometimes it wouldn't. Overall though, it was easy and fun to use and fast to figure out how to get things done.

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus

Ulead Video Studio not a leader!

The Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus has some additional features compared to its basic version for which buyers will need to pay additional dollars. I have used other products and so when compared to its rival products then I do not find it that great. The studio provides you with options to convert your DV-to-DVD, HD DVD (high-definition DVD) discs. The additional features for the Plus version are additional templates for movie wizard, editing timeline to greater details so that editing can be done with greater finesse particularly when working with complex sequences.

The major feature available to Plus is exporting video to an iPod or PSP as it can handle mpeg4 and H.254 formats. The really new feature in Plus is the chroma-key effects can be added to video overlays giving a tremendous effect to your videos. I found it very easy to use. Overall, I do not think the Plus' version is a real plus. I find basic to be good enough for editing video, unless I want to export to my iPod! A rating of 3.5 out of maximum 5.

For the Pros

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus is a great product, but not for me. It's way over my head. Navigating and learning everything I can do with this product will take me more time than I am willing to commit but has the potential to do amazing work for those that are already familiar with the basic layout of the program.

"This is an affordable and easy to use option for video editing." Four out of Five stars able to install and use on my computer within minutes! Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus is easy to install, and helped me to get my videos loaded and edited in a manner that I understood and felt in control of. Using Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus is easy, and after the initial set-up, helped me get started on cleaning up my videos, adding cool effects, and making my work shine. With so many difficult to use multimedia products on the market today, it is nice to know I found an easy-to set-up software package that allowed me to create the memory I wanted my own way.

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus

One of the best video editing and DVD creation software packages that I have used! While there are many other video editing and DVD creation suites out there in my experience Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus is in the top three. The video authoring allows you to create stunning DVD videos in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound as well as spectacular DVD videos in Hi-Def.

With VideoStudio Editor and the movie wizard, editing your existing home movies or authoring new ones these tools provide an easy to use streamlined interface that makes the editing and creation of your home DVD's and video a snap. With Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus adding snippets of segments of videos is as east as 1-2-3. You can import videos from your video camcorder, jpeg's, off the web and of course from your computer. I had a lot of fun using this product and would recommend that everyone give it a try. I would rate this product with 4/5 stars!

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus

AWESOME PROGRAM - performs way better than expected!

Ulead's Video Studio 11 Plus is the best I've found yet, because it is the only software that can do as promised and export to an iPod. I have had so many problems converting files and exporting them to my iPod - I was about to give up entirely because it's so frustrating. The install went very smoothly, and VS11 doesn't slow my computer down at all (I thought it would eat up all kinds of memory). It's not even difficult to get your videos on your iPod (you can also use it for PSP, but I don't have one of those, so I can't vouch for its' performance there); it's a matter of a couple of clicks, then waiting for a few minutes.

It's expensive, but I'd say it's well worth the cost. Considering the software as a whole (easy to install and use, and has the features I was looking for), I give VS11 5 stars. I think it's a fantastic product!

Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus
Awesome software - I give it 5 stars! I love using Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus. It has just the right number of tools to make video editing fun. Some programs I have used in the past had so many options that I felt overwhelmed and it was a real chore to get anything finished because I had to make too many choices. Video Studio 11 Plus has the tools I need to get the job done quickly and the results are astounding. I especially like the tools this program offers to fix common problems experienced during the filming process. I frequently am in situations where I cannot use a tripod and Studio 11 Plus has an anti-shake filter plus auto color and tone. I am also able to convert video so that my daughters can put it on their ipods which is a big plus. Many programs do not offer this option. I find the layout of this program to be very user friendly and, as I stated earlier, I think that for the money it offers just the right amount of options and tools. I highly recommend this program to video enthusiasts!
