This suite combines two softwares, the CucuSoft iPod Video Converter and the DVD to iPod Converter. With these two up your sleeve, it's a breeze to convert both DVD media and video files to your iPod. Enjoy watching all the films, clips and home-made videos on your iPod as a portable DVD player, or also convert them with CucuSoft to a variety of output video media like your iPhone, Apple TV, iPod touch and iPod video nano.

This software is important because your iPod cannot play average video files like AVI or MPEG formats. That's why you need CucuSoft to convert the files into something your iPod will understand. Sometimes other software needs two steps (first converting DVD to AVI, then converting output AVI to iPod) but this process wastes a lot of time. Because CucuSoft performs conversions directly in one step, the conversion speed is far faster than others.

The program is quite easy to use. All you need to do is put a DVD in your DVD drive, choose to output to iPod format in CucuSoft and then click 'Convert'. If you want to customise the process further, under the 'Advance' button you'll find parameters such as resolution, frame rate, and output quality. Plus, the clear-cut interface provides a real-size iPod image so you can see what videos will look like on its tiny screen.

Whilst the copy video quality is good, it is not as good as some other software out on the market.

The customer support is not very good. There is no phone support and they take a long time to respond to email enquiries.
