CyberLink PowerDirector 9 Ultra is a comprehensive video editing and enhancement software specifically designed for professional video editors and home users alike. This incredibly versatile visual utility suite can be used to create, edit, and compile original videos equipped with music, voice-overs, special effects, transition effects and more. Cyberlink has impeccably designed a useful program that transforms mediocre clips and full-length videos into brilliant compilations and vivid high definition masterpieces.

Each and every project created in CyberLink PowerDirector 9 Ultra is enhanced with the patented TrueTheater technology, which noticeably improves video resolution, corrects minuscule playback errors by editing the media in slow motion, and even adds surround sound to each media item automatically. This patented TrueTheater technology also corrects common production errors, such as poor lighting, strong backlighting, and bad white balance.

A newly added feature that is particularly worthy of mention is the one-of-a-kind Zoom In Cut feature, which offers one of the most precise trimming tool in the industry. Users can now create incredible videos with very little effort due to the revamped interface and new selection of automated tools. Video enhancement is an automated process that only requires the selection of a few user preferences.

Exporting and/or sharing media is an extremely simple and convenient process.

Correcting video flaws was simpler than one would expect, as the software seems to find these flaws automatically and correct them without instruction.

CyberLink PowerDirector Ultra: What We Didn't Like

Although the software is faster than most other video enhancement software, it does use quite a bit of memory when used extensively.
