The revolutionary TrueTheater technology raises the quality of DVDs to another level, delivering unparalleled playback quality for DVD and HD Blu-ray movies. The TrueTheater motion technology converts DVD frame rates into even faster frame rates, causing movements within the movie to appear as smooth as possible. To compliment the smooth motion playback, TrueTheater also creates multichannel audio output for True surround sound quality.
TrueTheater Stretch technology lets the user stretch the image for viewing on larger displays, without distorting the picture or negatively affecting the playback in any way. The TrueTheater lighting features compliment this by adding an amazing amount of vibrancy and clarity to the colors and shades of playback. Using this technology users can effectively transform dark and bland imagery into lively sand visually appealing artwork during playback.
Another interesting feature that is useful for playback on a larger display is Cinema mode, which converts menu items and other movie information into a larger format so that it can be read easily on a larger screen.
