Google Chrome is one of the most popular internet browsers available and is designed with speed, simplicity and security in mind and it's Download Manager seems to reflect all three elements in design and function.

When using Google Chrome, downloads can be viewed by using the download bar or opening the Download Manager in a new tab. The download bar is a small bar which will show up across the bottom of the browser page when something is being downloaded. It indicates what type of file is being downloaded, the name of the download and the remaining time left. This bar will show multiple downloads, and there is also an option to open the Download Manager in a new tab or page to view current and past downloads.
