We've all got better things to do than to search through a maze of websites and online destinations for the latest updates to driver softwares. Driver Detective solves this problem for you, making your life a lot easier by finding all the relevant drivers you might need. It has a database of over 3 million drivers from almost all the computer manufacturers and takes the frustration out of searching for new drivers.
Driver Detective 6 comes in a 4.8MB file that you download from the Driver Detective website and includes a simple interface of the following options: Home, History, Tools, Help and Last Scan. The first thing you do is to scan your computer hardware. Once the short scan is complete Driver Detective will give you a detailed breakdown of each of your hardware components and tell you if anything is out of date. Then all you have to do is click a button next to the specific hardware device to download its latest driver.
It's important to have the latest drivers installed on your system to avoid problems. Many times the manufacturers of the computer or hardware device will release new drivers that will make them run more efficiently but these updated drivers can be quite hard to find. Driver Detective will save you time and frustration by eliminating the tedious search of individual drivers.

It saves you a lot of time with quick scan times and no-nonsense results.
It is very easy to install and easy to use.
It has access to a huge database of over 3 million drivers
It comes with a detailed help file included in the program that goes in to great depth about the programs features.
Driver Detective 6.x: What we didn't like
The trial version is quite pointless as it does not allow you to trial or try the main features.
There have been some complaints that it does not work as it should however it's very easy to email Driver Detective support staff directly from the program if you're experiencing any issues.
