The software completely removes the fear of data loss caused by viruses and hardware failure.
The Genie Backup Manager Pro lets users backup the entire operating system, or a just specific group of files, based on a the users desired criteria. Users can choose to backup specific files individually, or they can configure the custom search criteria to seek out files based on file type, creation date, and a variety of other aspects. This feature is perfect for users that need to catalog and organize their data accordingly.
The remote backups feature lets users store all of their important data online, to prevent data loss due to lost removable storage devices or damaged hardware. Unlike many other backup utilities, users can even backup files that are in use without closing them, which makes the backup process convenient during any time. This feature improves business productivity by converting the backup process into a subtle background maintenance operation.

Backing up particular groups of files is simple with the detailed file filters. For example, users can backup all pictures with the click of a mouse.
Restoring backups is extremely simple no GBM installation is required. Instead, a standard .exe file is opened and the entire operating system is restored automatically.
Backups can be password protected and encrypted with the strongest commercial encryption services available.
Genie Backup Manager Professional: What We Didn't Like
Although online backups are supported, the software lacks secure FTP support.

Hard to find much wrong with this Product
Advantages
Compatible with almost every removable storage device. The use of a detailed file filter to quickly backup particular files.
Disavantages
No secure secure FTP support.

Genie Backup Manager Professional
Advantages
Features and user interface are good. Tech Support are responsive.
Disavantages
Faults in 64 bit platform version. Verify data integrity after backup apparebtly has a problem interfacing with Sonic (this worked in the 32 bit Home version I used previously) and the self restorable backups aren't self restirable. Genie9 tech support tell me this is because the software has been written for a 32 bit platform and has problems on a 64 bit platform. APart from the fact I paid for a version claiming to support a 64 bit platform it's a bit worrying if software as critical as backup has not been fully tested on the intended platform.
