A what-you-see-is-what-you-get greeting card application, Greeting Card Builder is one of the most versatile and user-friendly card design applications available. Designed for home users, Greeting Card Builder lets users easily create sharp and attractive cards from their own photos, drawings, and digital artwork.
Users can design cards using their own photographs and drawings, or simply use Greeting Card Builder's many built-in art options as the basis of their cards. With a wide range of clipart images included, creating seasonal and personal cards is simple even without a large personal photo collection.
Instead of using the unintuitive wizard interface that's found in many other greeting card tools, Greeting Card Builder allows users to operate entirely within a what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) interface, most commonly found in web design and programming applications. While this presents a slightly higher initial learning curve, once users have mastered the interface they'll quickly find themselves producing highly detailed greeting cards.
The advantages of the WYSIWYG interface area clear after a few minutes of experimentation - it allows a much greater level of detail than a wizard-based interface could provide. While Greeting Card Builder is unlikely to create cards that their rival professionally designed rivals, its wide range of editing features and relatively powerful interface allows users to create designs that are detailed, interesting, and sharp enough for any birthday or major holiday.
Greeting Card Builder is available as a 15-day shareware trial, allowing users to easily master the interface before they decide if the program is best for them. When compared to other greeting card software, Greeting Card Builder certainly stands up well. As an alternative to store-bought greeting cards, it falls slightly short, but as a self-contained editor, it's difficult to look past Greeting Card Builder.

While the WYSISYG interface has a sharper learning curve than wizard-based editors, it's significantly more powerful and versatile.
Importing photographs, images, and artwork is incredibly quick and simple.
Users can easily print greeting cards to custom-sized paper, or share them via email, online hosting, or social media websites.
Greeting Card Builder: What We Didn't Like
The slightly steeper learning curve may put off some users, although it provides a greater range of flexibility and power once overcome.
While high quality cards can be created in Greeting Card Builder, it's unlikely to provide anything to compare with commercial greeting cards.
