TaxCut Premium
Premium quality for premium tax returns. I immediately chose TaxCut Premium because I simply assumed H&R Block was the Sony of tax preparation software. And while the software delivered an accurate end result, I discovered after the fact that there were other more reasonable software services available to have reached the same goal. The lesson here is to choose what best fits your tax preparation needs. My taxes were minimal and simple and therefore it was not necessary for me to purchase premium services. It doesn't make much sense to shell out fees that practically equal your tax returns. That's not to say my experience with H&R Block was bad...just unnecessary. If, however, your returns are lengthy and require a litany of forms, TaxCut Premium has it all and provides a fast and accurate way to file your returns on time and get your refund without hassles or concerns. I found TaxCut Premium extremely functional and easy to use. The step-by-step instructions with help and support options at each stage made the usual process of preparing taxes much less painful. Electronic filing and rapid refunding made the whole process that much easier. Other tax software products, however, are just as easy to use so the bottom line is to choose what best fits your specific return requirements and whether the fees involved justify the expense of your return.
