I LOVE IT! We all know that filing taxes can be a "taxing" experience, but H&R Block makes it easy. I have found that all you need is your important information like social security number, W-2s, 1099s or anything else that applies to income and taxes paid. The software will then walk you through the process and if you get stuck there is someone available online to chat with to get answers. This product also provides valuable tips in saving money on your taxes at the end after you have filed. With this software, I have been able to complete, sign and file my taxes hassle-free and in about an hour or less and that is by filing long form with a Schedule C. You can also go back and check the status of any refunds that you may be entitled to. It is my personal experience that H&R Block would rate a 5 on a 0 to 5 scale.

This is a very good service if you have complicated tax return. It ensures that an experienced tax consultant takes a second look rather than depending on the software. It costs starting from $80 for this service. The state program is an additional $30. This price includes the cost of e-filing as well. So this is costly when compared to the other tax software but then you get the benefit of having a consultant review your return before sending it to IRS. You can also avail of the services of a tax advisor throughout the year under one of the options of this scheme. I would recommend that you use this service if have complex returns and are not sure of the tax laws. If your taxes are simple then use the other products like TaxCut or TurboTax as per your requirement. As far as rating the product goes, 4.5 out of 5.

Death and taxes! H&R Block can make one of them less painful! I highly recommend H&R Block Signature Online Tax Service. If you prefer to e-file for that fast return, you'll like the speed and ease of this software. You don't have to know tax law. If you don't understand, keywords provide definitions with a click. Still confused? With Signature you have unlimited "ask a tax advisor" sessions. I also appreciate that once you use this program you don't have to start over each year. H&R stores your basic info and only asks that you note any changes to address, marital status, number of children, and the like. H&R also guarantees the math and will determine whether an itemized or standard deduction is more beneficial. One year I was really stuck. I went to my local H&R office where I received personal assistance. The tax advisor was super helpful and friendly and they didn't charge extra. I give H&R Block Signature Online Tax Service 5 stars! 5 stars

It will give you peace of mind to know that what you have filed is correct. At the same time H&R guarantees what is being filed so that even if there is an oversight then they will reimburse you upto a particular amount. The online tax service like other Tax software is available online and you need to fill up your details online. If you use it again next year then it will reuse data already entered and save you from duplicate data entry. Once you are through with your data and you submit it, an H&R tax consultant reviews it for accurateness. After this the return is filed with the IRS. So if you have complicated tax matters then this service is very useful. Compared with other software available on the net, this one is a bit more costly but it provides you with more comfort feeling. You pay for what you get. If your taxes are simple then you are probably better off using simple software which comes free or cheap. If you have complex taxes and are not sure of the tax laws then you can use this service.
