InkSaver 2.0 allows you to control the amount of ink used by your inkjet printer, making your ink cartridges last longer. Using patented software algorithms, InkSaver optimizes printer data so that your printer uses less ink - even when printing at your inkjet's highest resolution. InkSaver 2.0 works with all inkjet printer brands including HP, EPSON, Canon, Lexmark and many more.
InkSaver is a software product that you install on your PC. It cooperates seamlessly with your existing printer software and hardware, giving you an unprecedented level of control over your ink usage. Sitting between your printer driver and your printer, InkSaver intercepts and optimizes your print jobs. Its patented algorithms are able to reduce a print job's ink requirements while still maintaining quality.
When you click "Print" InkSaver automatically goes to work, extending the life of your ink cartridge.
Set up is easy. Simply install InkSaver, and then set ink savings slider to the level of ink reduction you prefer - from 0% to 75%.
To help you choose the level of ink reduction that best suits your needs, InkSaver allows you to print a Sample Page on your printer. This page illustrates how documents look when printed at various ink reduction settings.
Because it works automatically, you can set InkSaver up once and never worry about it again. Just print the way you normally do, and let InkSaver go to work and save you ink every time you print. Or, if you prefer, you can confirm your ink reduction settings every time you print - so that you can tailor your settings to fit the quality needs of the document you're printing.

InkSaver 2.0
Software for the true penny-pincher. While most inkjet printers allow you to print with varying levels of quality, InkSaver 2.0 allows you to have much more control over the process. You can decrease the amount of ink used by 1% increments, so you can have high-quality appearance without high-volume of ink - an impressive feature, given the high cost of ink cartridges. After printing out a few pages at different levels of savings, I noticed only miniscule variances in color quality, and no loss in clarity. Also impressive is InkSaver's streamlined interface. It's very easy to use; I didn't have to read any manuals or FAQ's in order to understand just what I needed to do and where I could do it. When you set the amount of ink you would like to save, the program will also let you know just how much money you'll be saving through your adjustment. While it isn't jam-packed with features, this is a straight-forward piece of software. It does what it's advertised to: save you money. and that's to save money. If you have an inkjet printer, InkSaver 2.0 should definitely be on your PC. Five out of five stars.

InkSaver 2.0
InkSaver does just that - it saves ink. Overall, I quite liked this product. It was easy to install and worked without problems. I liked how the program printed a test page so I could see the result at the different ink savings levels. Then I could adjust the settings to suit me. The software costs more than I would prefer to pay. However, it works well and will save me money on printer ink. So once the free trial ends, I most likely will decide to buy the full product. 3.5/5

InkSaver 2.0
Automatic Money by Printing! When I first heard of InkSaver 2.0, I was a little skeptical. How was it that doing something so simple could save me hundreds of dollars? I downloaded the program and set to work. The first thing I noticed was the easy interface. I ran the program to find a friendly graphical window with a slider to set how much ink I wanted to save. But what if I didn't know what percent to choose? Never fear, with a click of a button I printed a test page that showed me what my files would look like under each percent setting! For my printer, I could go all the way to 75% savings without losing the quality I needed! This is all and well, but how about a real document? After printing through an entire ink cartridge I found that the program's numbers added up - I had printed significantly more pages on one ink cartridge than I had previously dreamed possible with a very little drop in quality! For a person that prints anywhere from 20-60 pages a week, and often more, buying this was a no-brainer. The best thing about this is that it is completely automatic. Once you install the program once, all you have to do is go on with your normal life. This program essentially pays for itself! The only downside for this program is that it won't work on vista, linux-based, or apple products. However, the company's website says that it is expanding quickly and I'm sure it won't be long until we all have this in our homes.

InkSaver 2.0
Simple to use and effective. Rate: 4/5 When my husband first introduced me to the idea of this ink saving software, I was very skeptical that it would work at all. But the cost of ink cartridges have been very expensive and I decided to give it a trial.
I find InkSaver 2.0 very easy to use and it caters to my needs of different levels of saving with each different print that I want. I have only one wish with its next upgrade, that is that it will allow me to choose different levels of saving for the color versus the black.

Rating: 5/5 stars I was searching online for ways to save ink when I came across this amazing program. I hadn't even known such a useful product existed! I found that it worked right away. My family usually went through an ink cartridge every other week but with the first 15 days free I already realized that I didn't even need to buy another one anytime soon! I right away bought this product for not only my computer, but for my sister's as well. She was just as surprised as I was that we hadn't heard people screaming about how amazing this was! I actually used to spend a minimum of 200 dollars a year buying new ink cartridges for my family's constant print outs. I couldn't believe it when I came across a program that could do what my printer had falsely promised: save me money on ink!
This program was something foreign to me as I didn't even know that its claims were even possible, but I found myself no longer slamming empty cartridges against the floor trying to spare myself an extra thirty dollars a color. It was very easy to use and I no longer felt incapable. It even allowed me to customize InkSaver so that I could work with my printer's specific needs. From looking at everything I realized that my printer wastes ink. This program was able to help me print out pages that were the exact equivalent of the pages prior to the InkSaver 2.0. This has saved me countless trips to my local printing stores and so much money, I couldn't be more pleased!

Looking Good, but no Mac Version. 4/5 stars
Is it me, or do inkjet printers over saturate with ink, causing you to quickly burn through cartridges and cash? And isn't it odd that cartridges are insanely expensiveeven more expensive than the printers that use them? Conspiracy? Probably not. But still I hate plopping down thirty bucks per cartridge. So I tried Inksaver. Software Imaging makes this little number for about 35 bucks, and they promise to save an average user $150 a year. If true, the software will easily pay for itself five times over in only a year.
For me, a printing junkie who prints out over 200 pages a month, they promise a savings of $200. This seems like a no-brainer. I was up and running in minutes, and for the next hour probably burned my way through a cartridge just to see if I was really saving ink. Although it's too early to tell, I'd have to say I am.. Inksaver takes care of over-saturation without sacrificing quality. In fact, I couldn't see any drop in quality, except at Inksaver's highest setting. I was a bit worried that somehow the overhead of the program would slow down my printing. It did not. Inskaver worked seamlessly with my computer and software.
If I hadn't installed it, I wouldn't know it was there. I do wish there was a Mac version, but Inksaver only works with Windows.

This little program is amazing. I've printed so many documents over the past few years - as a student, a student teacher, and now a teacher. I can't begin to imagine how much ink and money I could have saved if I'd found out about this sooner.
With Inksaver, you set a level - 0% through 75% - and your Inkjet printer uses that much less ink. As a teacher, I often print out documents and worksheets to copy at school. I print them at home - using my own ink. After just one month (September), my printer reported that my black ink cartridge was getting low. At this rate, I'll go through seven or eight cartridges this year. That's $150-200! Now that I've installed Inksaver, I tried printing out a document at 50%. The text is still perfectly readable. You can notice a slight fade in it, but everything looks faded after it's copied anyway. I'll be printing out all my school documents at 50% now - and save at least $75-100 this school year. I looked a complete test page as well. You can hardly notice a difference between 0% and 25%.
I'd feel perfectly comfortable handing a document printed at 25% to my boss. The only thing I wouldn't use it for is if I were printing a photo-quality picture. In the long run, this is more than worth a $35 investment.
