The best financial software for small & medium business Quickbook Premier is the best financial software for small and medium business. The 2008 edition of this software has additional features which enhances the value of the product. The Premier version comes with couple of more features than the baser version called Quickbook Pro. The most important difference is that the Premier version comes with customized solution for about 6 industries. So if your business falls in that industry then all you need to do is buy the license and start using the product! Yes, it is that simple. The new features in 2008 are ability to send emails from QuickBook itself using Outlook. Sharing of records with the accountant for review, ability to import data from MicroSoft Excel, View unbilled time and expenses for all clients on a single screen and transfer to an invoice with one click, track billable hours from Outlook with the new and improved Time Tracker. With the improved Help functionality, you can find information you need quickly and easily. It now offers support to Windows Vista and continues to support Windows XP. The company provides 1 year of free access to Quickbook data over a secured connection. For upto 5 users the software costs start from $360. If required, you can buy licenses for additional users. QuickBooks Premier 2008 is the only software you will need for your business. It saves me money and time with it's easy to use format. I really like that I can access my information from other locations just like I was sitting at my desk. That feature alone has saved me several trips back to my office to get needed reports. QuickBooks Premier 2008 has really saved me time with its ability to create forecasting and business plan reports from my current data. It is very user friendly and was easy to customize for my special business needs. I can balance my accounts and email invoices all with just a click of the mouse. I give this software a 4.8 out of 5
