Excellent Image Editor and Viewer
I have been using Irfanview for about six years now. I enjoy this application as the below states, there are not EULA, there is no adware, no spyware. The plugins are superb, the software is easily navigated. the best part of all of this Irfan, keeps this application updated, and that means a lot. I guess the better of any of this is that fact that this Application is FREE. and it works 100% of the time.

Only Image Viewer I Ever Use
I too have been using Irfanview for about six years. I tried photo viewers that required a degree in Computer Science. My resident photo handlers had 1/50th the options and controls that Irfanview has. Although his program is FREE, I sent him a small donation later on to help him along (not required but appreciated). With it you can size your pictures, adjust color for brightness, gamma, contrast, sharpness, saturation, and RBG hues. This is all you'll really ever need. Irfanview also plays movie clips and has a slideshow. It does batches, so I converted all my slow BMPs to faster JPGs. This is the only and last photo-handler I will ever need! If you ever get to communicate with Irfan tell him thanks for me! He is really one helluva guy.
