Kaspersky AntiVirus - Things We Like

The latest AntiVirus software from Kaspersky has a range of new and improved systems to help keep your PC as secure as possible, by providing real-time protection against a range of threats that could strike your computer. The Kaspersky AntiVirus download provides effective protection against IT nasties such as worms, Trojans, bots, rootkits and viruses, amongst others. In addition to these traditional threats, the technology can also protect from new, as yet unknown threats. One of the best new features is System Watcher which will check and log application activity and behaviour. If it detects something suspicious the software will halt the application and tell the user. In addition the software can go back and delete any malware that has already been created or spread. All the programme features and settings are easily accessible thanks to the new Desktop gadget. A quick read of a Kaspersky AntiVirus review will reassure you that the software is easy to install and straightforward to use.

Kaspersky AntiVirus - Things We Didn't Like

For the price there are rival packages that include more features, such as online backup and a firewall. The software can also affect performance by slowing down your computer's start up time and file copying. If you're more experienced with technology, the simple layout may provide too little information about what Kaspersky is doing and restrict your ability to fine-tune the settings.

Kaspersky AntiVirus: I think there is better

Advantages

30 day trial is a good option if u just need a quick fix

Disavantages

Big download and a full scan take a full working day, chews up your system resources making it dreadfully slow. Also didn't remove the virus I was trying to get rid of as the virus had disabled it's "Remove" buttons

Great product for a reasonable price.

Advantages

Easy to install, light on resources, and many security options. Low price!

Disavantages

Interface could be better. Does not get along well if installed with other antivirus software.
