Total Protection is McAfees all in one PC protection software, covering firewalls, spam, spyware, emails, personal files and more. Easy to check status and schedules to allow it to run scans while you are away and update when the PC is idle are great features. There is also a secure delete tool, a useful feature that clears up a little known security issue that PCs don't remove data on delete, just mark the space as being over-writable and remove its listings. Autoback-up is also included, as is home network defence. The Premium editions Site Advisor software is more advanced than that of the Internet Security or Anti-virus plus suites.
