Product Description
AutoCollage 2008 allows users to easily compile a set of individual photographs into one seamless collage. In just a few clicks, people can transform an unwieldy group of photos - for example, of an event such as a wedding or holiday - into a single collage image that can be printed; used in e-postcards, web pages or desktop backgrounds; or e-mailed to family and friends.
Create beautifully blended image collages with a click of your mouse. AutoCollage automatically selects, arranges, and blends your pictures into a collage suitable for printing or e-mailing. Photo collages celebrate important events and themes in our lives. Pick a folder, press a button, and in a few minutes AutoCollage presents you with a unique memento to print or email to your family and friends.
Reasons to buy
- Create beautiful collages from your pictures.
- E-mail your collage with the click of a button.
- Create full-page prints and desktop backgrounds.
- Create popular print sizes, such as 4" x 6" and 8" x 10"
AutoCollage considers three main criteria to ensure that it chooses the best images to feature in the collages it creates:
- Choosing images that are most representative of the overall theme (eg, avoiding duplications, choosing people or groups of people)
- Laying out the images in an interesting way (eg, ensuring one image overlay does not dominate the collage, ensuring important parts of the photo are visible)
- Blending the images together so the joins aren't visible

Editor's Review
Autocollage 2008 is a comprehensive photo compilation software that lets users create the most stunning photo collections and collages possible. Users can transform an entire photo album into a single breathtaking collage that embodies an entire event or time period on one page. Creating a photo collage can bring all of the best moments of weddings, graduations, and any other memorable event into one priceless piece. If a picture speaks a thousand words, then a collage speaks a million!
The process of creating a collage is turn-key with AutoCollage 2008, as the user can create a masterpiece with the simple selection of a folder and the click of a mouse. The default collage settings can be used to produce a professional quality compilation in just moments, or the settings can be modified to create custom designed photo collages.
Once the collage is created, it can be emailed to multiple recipients or printed in less than 30 seconds, with a single mouse-click. The user also has the option of creating a desktop background with the finished product. In fact, once the collage is exported as an image file, the file can be used in a variety of ways including screen savers, posters, business cards, greeting cards, clothing, and any other use one could imagine.
Collages can be created without the need to select certain pictures, as the software will automatically select related pictures that would be most relevant to the compilation. The software avoids using duplicate or similar photos, and arranges each collage in a unique yet satisfying fashion.
Photos are arranged in a way that prevents dominant overlapping, and all of the important areas are exposed in each photo. To avoid creating a scattered mess, the software hides the corners of the photos to create a seamless appearance that blends the compilation into a collective artwork.
The following are the minimum system requirements:
Operating System: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: 233 MHz or faster; 1 GHz or faster recommended
Disk Space: 100 MB
Memory: 512 MB Ram
Display Resolution: At least 800 x 600 resolution
