Cleans out the Registry without a Trace
I use this to clear out nasty Trojan viruses and other nasties that occasionally appear on my machine. I have found that it has saved me a lot of time and effort in clearing out some of the nastier Browser hijackers. I followed the instructions, and have had no problems with it. I know that the registry is a very sensitive area, so I have not tried any psychadelic tasks that completely ruined my machine. As far as I'm concerned, this software has been helpful and worth every penny of the price.

Easy to use, simple, yet gets the problem done. A hidden fact to many, the Windows registry gets messed up after long use. Installing, uninstalling, changing settings etc soon results in a nightmare for the computer. It was only when I realized how slow the computer has become that I began to see the prospect of registry cleaner. Registry Mechanic comes as a simple, one-click solver to scan the registry, gives me the results in a list, and gives me the freedom to choose which problems to fix. It is as easy as that. No complications, no fuss, and it solves the problem. Registry Mechanic made me a happy person ever since and I did not have to worry about the problems as a result of testing new software, such as game demos and other trials.

Registry Mechanic  is quite simply marvelous. My PC recently quit responding upon startup. After multiple reboots, rollbacks to previous restore points, I finally was able to get to the desktop without errors, but only in safe mode. It was time for some registry cleanup. I searched and compared multiple tools to help me with this process, and came across PC Tools registry 8.0. Though a little pricier than other brands, it scored highest on the user ratings, so I bought it. What a dream! After the initial install it found a little over 2000 registry repairs and quickly took care of the problem in less than 10 minutes. After the next reboot, my PC was up and running in regular mode and I was able to connect to the Internet. .

Registry Mechanic 6.0

Pretty Good. I was pretty impressed with the Registry Mechanic, more so than I thought I would be. The best part about the software was that it was super fast. The last one I tried took over an hour, and was still running when I turned it off. When I used this one, the total scan took a little less than 6 minutes. It also made my computer run a lot faster than it did before. I also love that its easy to use, and that its pretty cheap.

I really couldn't find anything that I didn't love about this! 5 stars out of 5.

I am not a "computer geek" but I did notice my computer getting slower and slower. I downloaded Registry Mechanic 6.0 and let it do its thing. I was totally amazed! Who would have thought that a simple looking, easy to use program could make that much difference? I was truly impressed and now run it once a week.

Installing Registry Mechanic 6.0 is one of the best decisions I have made this year! You should too.

This is one of the best program i have found, it works just really great for me, my computer was running so slowly that i felt it was time to throw it against the wall, and I was almost taking it to buy a new one, when i found registry mechanic on an magazine, bought the magazine and tried the CD at home, I've got so amazed when registry mechanic found around 800 errors on my computer, after correcting it, it looked it wasn't the same computer anymore.

I find Registry mechanic 8.0 one of the best program you can find out there to refresh your computer, and save your money. I rate it 5 stars.

I've found Registry Mechanic to be a reliable way to keep my PC's registry in check. You know the problem, every time you remove software some part of it remains in the registry. So like Topsie, it grows bigger and bigger, Windows takes longer to search it and your PC slows down. Registry Mechanic starts with Windows and runs a quick check for invalid entries. If it finds any it offers to delete them. An offer I always accept, because it's risk free Registry Mechanic backs up the whole registry before making any changes.

I wholeheartedly recommend this program. The only reason it doesn't get 5 out of 5, is that it slows my PC down whilst it's running which seems to take a long time when I ask it to check everything.

Better Than Expected!

5 Stars I've always been wary of doing anything to my registry. However, after reading how much is left behind after installing and uninstalling programs, I gave Registry Mechanic a try. My computer is two years old and I frequently test beta versions of software. The scans were easy and quick to run, probably no more than 5 or 6 minutes. My computer now boots up faster than ever and runs smoother than it ever has. I did not even realize how many registry keys are left behind and how it truly affects your computer. Great product and wonderful results.

I love Registry Mechanic 6.0!

We have it set up so that it scans our hard drive every time we boot up. If we have any "problem" crashes with our software or online programs we immediately scan for errors. We rarely have those problems now. We must have eliminated hundreds of broken links and bad registry errors since we first started using this program back in 2006. We HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone who uses a computer.

Registry Mechanic 8.0

Registry Mechanic 8.0 from PC Tools indicated 378 errors on the first scan. I was in the market for a good registry cleaner because my computer was running a little sluggish, and there were missing icons for Internet Explorer that I could not seem to fix it on my own.

About twice a year, I need to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows because my computer slows down and programs freeze up. The free trial offer does not fix the errors. It only performs scans, and shows the basic functions. I wanted a fully functional trial to see how my computer performed, after the errors are fixed, but before deciding to buy. I did notice that the scans were fast and efficient, and it did not slow down my computer during the scan. I also liked the clean interface, and it was easy to use.

I bought the license key and have been using it for almost a year. My missing icons reappeared, and my computer runs faster and smoother. I have not had to do one re-installation of Windows since. Five Stars and Two Thumbs Up!
