Amazing!
I work from home, and my job dictates that I do a lot of research on the web, mostly in large pdf files. This used to be a gigantic pain because I would have to browse the entire article looking for information, then have to painstakingly type that information into a spreadsheet by hand. UGH! Instead, I picked up this nifty little program. In no time I was able to search, copy, and even edit those nasty PDF document. My productivity sky rocketed, and my business is doing better than ever. I have never had to use the support, nor have I really ever needed to delve into the advanced features o the product. Still, from what I have seen, it works well!

Great Alternative to AAP
Great product for creating/manipulating .pfd files. Couldn’t ask for more. No problems found so far. Cheaper than AAP too!

pdfFactory Pro 3

The pdf factory Pro 3 is yet another software to create pdf documents. I found it to be a very good piece of software and infact quite simple to use. Installation was easy and simple. It is also useful to have on your laptop or desktop.

It works great with pages that have tables, columns or pictures. The output is very precise and top quality. You need to use the software to create the document and once you are done, click on 'Print' with the output being directed to pdfFactory. Once done, save as pdf document. The idea is a great one and works very well. However, the price may be on the higher side for individuals. The software can be bundled with other feature which helps to get you more value for money. But, with the advent of free pdf creator available abundantly on the internet, it is in serious competition. You are advised to spend your money wisely.

pdfFactory Pro 3

pdfFactory Pro 3 is a great, simple program. It makes creating pdf files incredibly easy. Installation takes mere minutes. You can download the file from the website, hit the "install" button, and be ready to go quickly. You don't need to answer any prompts or choose any settings - the installation is completely automated. Creating the pdf files is easy too. You can convert any file by "printing" it. Instead of printing it to your printer, you choose "pdfFactory" as the printer. Once you print the file, pdfFactory opens, you can fiddle with some settings, and you can save the file as pdf. I opened up an old Word document - some resources I use for a high school Social Studies lesson - and converted it to a pdf in less than a minute.

I didn't need to make any special changes to the Word document. The program is simple, quick, and easy to use. It also has plenty of features - you can add watermarks, use letterhead templates, or add password-protection security. If you need to convert documents to pdfs, pdfFactory Pro 3 is a great way to go.

PdfFactory stands out in a pretty crowded market of PDF converters. The installation took just a tad longer that it could have been, but I understand that the program has to register its own printer driver. PdfFactory surpasses its competition in one crucial feature. I didn't have to make a PDF in order to see a PDF, because the program provides quick and easy preview of the document. This fulfills a very important need for publishing documents with the precision of PDF technology, but with less clutter on the hard drive. It is particularly useful when I have to prepare a document with a lot of different fonts (font selection also is easily manageable in pdfFactory). It often takes many frustrating attempts to get something just right while using Acrobat. PdfFactory can save time and probably paper as well.
