Phanfare for 1 Year is a subscription-based photo and video hosting service for serious amateurs and pro photographers. Share, manage, and archive your digital photos and videos. With Phanfare, you can create a photo and video website with gorgeous slideshows, fullsize images and high definition videos at your own destination URL.

Real Estate. There is nothing else like it. With your account, you get a destination web site for your album collection. Your Phanfare website will be at http://yourname.phanfare.com. Your friends and family can visit your website and view your photos whenever they like. You can set a password to protect your entire website, protecting all of your published albums. While you are still working on an album, you can keep it entirely private.

Phanfare's websites include fullscreen slideshows with your own music (try it now) and optionally provide links to download fullsize original images and archival versions of your video. Look at the style of Phanfare's albums. You can see that we designed the navigation interface to support a lifetime of photos and videos.

No matter what your workflow, we have you covered. Phanfare has plugins for Apple Aperture, Apple iPhoto, Google's Picasa and Adobe Lightroom. You can continue to use these tools to acquire and edit your images. Then, export your finished photos directly to your Phanfare account.

Phanfare also offers web-based management and downloadable desktop organizers for Mac and PC that speed uploading and give you an immersive view into your photos and videos from any desktop. Our organizers are auto-synchronizing and work offline without a network connection. Have an iPhone? Great. Phanfare Photon will sync your photos and videos directly to your iPhone or iPod touch right over the air. You can even edit your photos from your iPhone and your changes are sync'ed back to Phanfare.

Phanfare plays well with others. You can transfer images and videos directly to Facebook on demand. Facebook will only accept the downsampled files, but the images and videos transferred over become fully part of the Facebook system. Your friends and family can comment and face tag directly. Flickr has a vibrant community of photo enthusiasts that like to comment on each other's work. You can manage your collection at Phanfare and still be part of that scene with our Flickr integration. You can simply choose which photos you want to transfer to Flickr and off they go. Want to push a constant stream of photos to your living room? Wireless digital picture frames that support Phanfare will automatically update with your latest Phanfare albums.

Your photos and videos are irreplaceable. And yet too many people have only a single copy of these treasured memories on their home computer's hard drive. At Phanfare we store your photos and videos using Amazon S3, a redundant geographically distributed storage system based on the same technology that runs Amazon.com.

Archiving digital photos is hard if you want to do it right. Formats change. When Phanfare started back in 2004, Flash 7 was the dominant video format on the web. Now H.264 is the standard for high quality video. Screen resolutions are always increasing. Phanfare can change with the times, carrying your media forward for the future generations. As an archival service, Phanfare keeps a version history of all edits to photos. You can always rollback to the bits that you uploaded to the service if you make a mistake.
