A look at the bargains available during the Corel 5 day sale.

Get in quick as Corel are doing a big clearout of soon to be superceded versions. It's meant to be a 5 day sale but some prices may be discounted longer, and definitely some will be discounted pretty heavily. Pick up a copy of the popular digital painting download Painter 11 before it returns to full price with version 12. Paintshop Photo is half price (the new X4 version will come out soon), WinDVD is 60% off and there's a sea of red on the list of Corel coupons!

September to early October is a pretty good time to be picking up software. Thought it will likely be out of date pretty shortly, it's likely to be heavily discounted and if you're the renewal or upgrading type, you can pick up the newest version when it updates in 2011. You might pay a bit more because you're upgrading from 2010 to essentially a 2012 edition, but most software publishers just have a set upgrade price. if you're not the upgrading type you can just kick back and enjoy the savings!
