CrazyTalk is a revolutionary tool for creating sophisticated, zaney or dramatic talking characters for unique digital content. Simply import an image and CrazyTalk guides you through the process to bring it to life with wizard-like menus for beginners and in-depth power editors for pros. CrazyTalk6 PRO enhances actor creation, actor performance, and editing controls to deliver an elite set of facial animation tools to develop, direct and render videos for production or sharing online.
CrazyTalk gives you the ability to type text or copy text from a document or webpage directly into CrazyTalk, which is then instantly transformed into spoken audio by CrazyTalk's Text-to-Speech voice analysis technology. CrazyTalk doesn't contain TTS engine itself, but it will help you access to the default TTS engine in your operation system (e.g. Microsoft).
Advancements in Text-to-Speech inside CrazyTalk now offer better quality audio performance with increased natural human voices supported by many third-party text-to-speech voice companies. Additional solutions for text driven synthetic voice performances are available in Reallusion store for professional business applications, home projects, and educational exercises for students. Easily control voice selection, volume, pitch, and speed parameters with a simple interface or dynamically using supported development languages.
Your text-to-speech vocal performance can be delivered by multiple voices you may choose to add to your voice library. Custom text-to-speech voices allow your text to be performed by Male voice, Female voice, child voice, or character voices with accents to deliver localized voices for every region of the world.
Multi-character Setup from any Image:
- Multi-character setup is easy with the fitting wizard that can identify up to 4 actors in any image. Simply use Select/De-select to add or delete a character.
- 2 major frames for face & full body fitting: Face frame for facial animation; Body frame for full character transformation.
- The character frame can be in any quadrilateral shape, increase the layout flexibility and make the most of pixel resolution.
Auto Face Fitting Technology:
- The full featured image editor allows you to rotate, crop images, do color correction, and leads you to the face fitting procedure - all in the same environment.
- CrazyTalk automatically fits the facial wireframe to your image. You can also use 4 simple clicks to identify the corners of the eyes and the mouth. Once finished, you can have the complete control to fine-tune the fitting points.
- Direct image import from your web cam for faster face fitting.

When it comes to animation software, few applications can create anything as zany, bizarre, and interesting as Reallusion CrazyTalk 6 PRO. Users can create animations from a single static image, add facial movements, and synchronize their image's lips to simulate conversation.
Perfect for creating video narration and digital characters, CrazyTalk 6 includes full support for Microsoft's native text-to-speech platform, allowing users to easily add a unique digital voice to their animations. With a range of built-in voices, finding a pitch and timbre that's appropriate for the animation can take some time, but the range available makes finding the perfect voice very much possible.
Animation, on the other hand, can be either simple or complex, depending on the level of user experience and detail required. New users can simply use CrazyTalk's step-by-step instructions to import their image and create an animated facial structure, saving time and generating an image that's relatively realistic, if a bit static.
Advanced users, especially those than can afford to invest some time into their animations, can end up creating fluid and lifelike animation from a single image. By configuring different parts and muscles within the face, CrazyTalk can deliver lifelike facial movements and synchronized lip movements, all from simple text and a single image.
While many users will want to animate individuals within an image, CrazyTalk also provides support for up to four separate animations per image. With the right degree of configuration, it's possible to create entire conversations within a single image, with different actors and voices delivering different lines.
With some major improvements from version 5, CrazyTalk 6 PRO is a worthwhile upgrade for previous users, and certainly a worthwhile purchase for amateur animators. While it's difficult to provide 3D-level animation from a 2D image, CrazyTalk can produce some convincing and interesting characters, add flavor to otherwise boring images, and deliver digital animation that's very simple to create.

Ultra-simple operation makes the software very easy for new users to adapt to. With just four clicks, users can define the important animation points of the face, leaving the software to configure the rest.
Users can create multiple actors within a single image, making animated group conversations possible.
A wide range of voice options, including timbre, speed, pitch, and accent, add another degree to character depth and personality.
Reallusion CrazyTalk PRO: What We Didn't Like
Built-in wizards allow users to produce characters quickly, but animations often end up looking unnatural without further configuration.
