MoviePlus - Things We Like

The idea behind the latest version of the MoviePlus download is that people creating home movies and editing clips at an amateur level can still enjoy professional quality tools without having to have the experience and knowhow required to use the pro packages. You can edit SD or HD video quickly and efficiently, inserting effects and transitions before finalising your work and sharing it with friends and family online or on DVD.

The speed with which the software operates is impressive and providing you have a decent rig you should be able to preview effects and edits without it stuttering or coming to a halt. This is made possible because HD clips are rendered in low resolutions during editing so as not overload your processor.

MoviePlus - Things We Didn't Like

The timeline is decent but a quick MoviePlus review will reveal that to get fine controls you will have to work hard because there is never quite enough screen space allocated for each video track to make the zoomed view that convenient.
