My Privacy is a tool that finds and erases the traces of your online activities and temporary files from your computer. The program is extremely easy to use - all you need to do is press the Analyze button and delete either all of the records or specific ones only.
Look what kind of information My Privacy detects on your computer:
Internet cache information
IE & Firefox cache - the pages you visit are saved on your hard drive (cached) to minimize their load times in the future. However, if you are looking for privacy and anonymity, you should regularly erase your cache files.
Typed URLs
My Privacy shows Internet addresses which you typed in the address string of your computer browser.
Visited Web-pages
When you surf the web information from every website you visit is stored on your computer. Web browsers cannot provide full privacy as they do not clean up all hidden files containing data about your actions. My Privacy will give you a hand to handle this.
Internet Cookie files
When your surf the Web an Internet site sends a cookie file which is stored on your computer. Such files contain information about your identify and preferences. By using My Privacy you can periodically remove the information stored in cookie files from your system, ensuring your privacy on the Internet.
Documents history
Many popular applications keep record of documents opened as a list of recently accessed files. If you want to ensure privacy of your activities you should purge this list on a regular basis.
Temporary folders
OS Windows assigns temporary folders for temporary files, such as (\Windows\Temp) and (\Documents and settings\User\Temp). These files may remain in the folder after application being its source is closed. As a result, such folders accumulate temporary files of big sizes, which can and should be removed.
