Star Trek The Original Series Vista Desktop Theme

Star Trek fans will appreciate this film based versatile desktop visual enhancement software that features three distinct themes. The themes center around the three branches of the Starfleet; Engineering, Sciences and Command.

The themes included in the software are based on the original CBS starship models used in the old Star Trek series, and are guaranteed to offer an err of authenticity and nostalgia to any die-hard Star Trek fan. CBS provided the original models to the Skins Factory for use during the production of these collector desktop themes.

The three wallpaper themes are complimented by three variant editions as well, and over thirty custom desktop items. Although the images of the Enterprise in the wallpapers are based on the original Star Trek models and textures, they have all been digitally re-rendered for the clearest and most realistic appearance possible.

This software also includes a a Star Trek audio remote widget that can be used with Windows Media Player 11 and iTunes. This sound widget includes dozens of sound FX from the original series, as well as several transporter animations. Users will need to download the free Yahoo! Widgets applications to use the software's included remote animations.

Even the Windows Start Menu has been revamped to resemble that of the Enterprise's central control panel. This theme was custom designed by the Hyperdesk division of the Skins Factory, who are renowned for high tech and sci-fi film-based creative designs.
