Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate is a comprehensive professional high definition video editing software that lets users create high definition movies with an extensive library of tools. Users can create visual masterpieces within a simple interface that is designed for both professionals and novices alike. Artists can add amazing visual effects, stunning scene transitions, titles, credits, and animations.

The modernized and simplified user interface displays all of the basic functions in an easy to use and convenient format. Users can import photos directly from their digital cameras, or from pre-existing files on their hard drive. Once the media has been imported into the software it can then be added to the timeline and edited using a variety of editing tools.

The new motion titling lets users take their title creation skills to the next level with huge library of title animations that can be applied with ease. This library of animations is not limited to stock titles, but rather is a base for users to create their own title animations using a plethora of adjustments and creative properties. Once the user has created a motion title that they are satisfied with, they can save this title to the "My Motion Titles Section" for later use.

Users can also create stunning high definition motion films with the fast-motion effects and stop-motion capture feature. The videos can be cropped, zoomed, cut, played in slow motion, and modified in virtually every way possible. The convenient timeline at the bottom of the user interface gives users a basis to create interesting narratives and film themes that are well-organized and entertaining.

All audio is captured, played and exported in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound which offers supreme clarity for precise editing purposes. Files can be exported to the web on sites like Youtube, with the click of the mouse. In fact, users can even export wide screen high definition videos straight to Youtube.

Movies can be exported in a variety of formats including DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray, Flash, Quicktime, Ps3, PSP, Nintendo Wii, Xbox and more. The software includes an vast collection of Red giant plug-ins which provide enhancement modifications that boost the productivity, simplicity, and overall functionality of the software.

Although the software is relatively simple to use considering all of the features it offers, it still carries somewhat of a learning curve, especially for novice video editors.
